Every year the Whitehall fire Dept. holds fire prevention and safety programs.

The majority of  our programs are done in the Month of

October for fire prevention month. At this time the Fire Department hold over 30 programs Township wide. The firefighters are very proud of this program and the work they due with it. The programs are geared around the age group on hand and as many safety and learning aspects as possible are covered. The members hold demonstrations of all sorts time permitting and answer questions brought to the program. The fire department also has guest appearances made by there well known fire Mascot "Sparky". The members of the Department also take the time to hand out highly sought after assorted trading cards of the Townships fire apparatus and personnel. There is also approximately 5 programs done each year where the firefighters will sit down and have lunch with the students of the school in order to interact and spend more time answering questions.

Should you or any one you know be at all interested in having the fire department come to you for any type of fire prevention display or education no matter what time of year or time of day please feel free to contact Assistant Chief Craig Hanzl as he is our township fire prevention coordinator and he will see to it that contact is made and your needs are assisted with as well possible.
